PICTURE OF THE DAY!
Wednesday, April 18, 1973
Margie West: First time I’ve seen a picture of this crash. Thanks!
I worked at El Camino Hospital in Mountain View in the lab. I was leaving for the
day and I could see the plume of smoke from the parking lot. My boss came after
me and asked me to return to work since casualties were expected. Only one survivor
was brought our ER. He was badly burned and eventually transferred to a burn unit in
the East Bay. A year later he visited El Camino Hospital to thank the staff.

Building Margaret’s Casket with Love
Video link: https://youtu.be/wlwFILIFAlk
09/22/2019
Today Margaret’s casket was built by some dedicated friends and family. I would like for everyone to know how much love went into making the casket that will be the place that will house her body in its final resting place.
I would like to personally thank Steve Donohue, Becky Marquez, Ernie Marquez, Steve Slack, Maria Solomon, Serena Mendez, Angel Mina, Robin Tokiwa, Jazlene, Santiago, Antoinette, Liliana, Nana and Tata Sandez, Grandpa Sanchez, Trina, Greg and Xiomara Ramirez for helping build the casket from 9am-3pm today. So much love went into making the casket for Margaret. It is a beautiful testimony of how much people will come together to show their love for Margaret. We shared food, drinks, laughs and tears throughout the process. It was something our family will always remember.
Special thanks to Steve Donohue for his expertise in making the vision all come together.
