RETIRED SERGEANT ROY SANFILIPPO

Bob Moir reported that Roy passed away at approximately 4:30 p.m. this past Friday (May 25th) at Los Gatos Community Hospital. He was 91, and the cause of death was pneumonia.

Roy’s daughter, Michele, is working on an obituary which should appear in the paper over the next day or two and in the Farsider on Thursday.

Arrangements have already been made, which is the reason for this early notification.

The service will be held at 11:00 a.m. this coming Friday, June 2nd, at the St. Clare Chapel, located at the Santa Clara Mission Cemetery (a/k/a Santa Clara Catholic Cemetery) at 490 Lincoln St. in Santa Clara. (not to be confused with the City of Santa Clara cemetery on Winchester Blvd.).



A reception will follow the service at Fiorillo's Restaurant, 638 El Camino Real in Santa Clara. Phone 408-984-0414
